Welcome to the website of author M. Mott!   M. Mott specializes in creating wholesome controlled text chapter books that follow decodable patterns for children learning to read and those with specific reading disabilities, such as dyslexia.  

As a person with dyslexia, M. Mott believes children who struggle with non-controlled text deserve high-quality, decodable chapter books- especially with charming full-color illustrations!

As a special education teacher, M. Mott began writing stories for her students.  At her student's request, she soon began drawing illustrations to accompany them... and so Miss Moss was created!
